Henry A. Vieth Jr., 91 of Fairbury, died December 13, 2014 at Gardenside LTC in Fairbury, NE. He was born to Henry A. Vieth, Sr. and Sophia (Haldemann) Vieth on May 27, 1923 in Sparta, WI.

Survivors are wife Elaine, of Fairbury, daughters Barbara & husband George Ding of Phoenix, AZ, Susan & husband Michael Dux of Fairbury, Kathy & husband Bob Henning of Lincoln, Karen & husband Stephen Dux of Fairbury, Rhonda & husband Dean Fuelberth of Lincoln, 15 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, son-in-law Gene Hermes of Minneapolis, MN, and brother-in-law Art Manson of Sparta, WI.

Preceded in death by parents, daughter Beverly Hermes, and son Paul Vieth.

Services will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ, Gladstone, NE with Pastor Bill Jardine officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday December 17th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Memorials to the Family’s Choice. Burial will be in Zion UCC Cemetery, Gladstone, NE. Viewing will be at Funeral Home only. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
