Herman Lee Katz age 83 of Fairbury passed away on February 4, 2011. He was born December 13, 1927 at Beatrice, Nebraska the son of Herman Charles and Martha Spilker Katz.
Survivors include his wife Geri, children Jim and Shirley Katz, Lyle and Tammy Katz, Julie Lambert, grandchildren Lindsey Katz, Calvin Katz, Jessica Katz, Brandon Katz, Luke Katz, Megan Smallcomb and husband Harold, stepgrandchildren Wade Lewis and wife Jennifer, step-greatgrandchildren John Lewis, Michael Lewis, sister-in-law Helen Butterfield, nieces,nephews, many relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jansen Bible Church in Jansen, Nebraska with Pastor Paul Carpenter officiating.
Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
