Idella J Scheuler

Idella June (Green) Scheuler was born on June 24, 1921 to Leona and William Green in Fairbury, NE. She passed away on January 13, 2017 at the age of 95 years, 6 months and 19 days.

Idella lived most of her life in the Reynolds area. She graduated from Reynolds High School with honors in 1938. She was united in marriage to Omer Scheuler August 16, 1939. Three children were born to this union; Marvin, Gordon and Velda.

She is survived by son Marvin (Janice) Scheuler of Hebron, daughter Velda (Dennis) Graff of Hubbell, daughter-in-law Lynn Scheuler of Hebron, grandchildren David (Anita) Scheuler, Debra (Scott) Mumm, Bryan (Caresse) Scheuler, Cathy (Doug) Barritt, Jon Graff, Daniel Scheuler and Jessica Scheuler, 10 great-grandchildren Kelsey and Tanner Mumm, Mitchell and Jared Scheuler, Samantha and Cody Barritt, Bryanna, Cealey, Chara Scheuler and Tomas Torres, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Charles and Norma Scheuler of Lincoln, many special nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Omer, son Gordon, grandson Toby, brother William, and sister-in-law Muriel Green.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday January 18, 2017 at the Fairbury Cemetery-Fairbury, NE. Memorials to the family’s choice. Gerdes-Meyer funeral home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
