Idonna Louise Hanson

Idonna Louise (Loch) Hanson passed away at her home on March 27, 2020. She was born on April 3, 1934 to Frank and Harriet (Taylor) Loch in Reynolds, Nebraska. Idonna was the third of five children. She attended school in Thompson and Fairbury.
She was married to Ernest Coordsen and together they had a daughter, Linda. Linda was only eleven months old when her father was killed in an automobile accident.
Idonna later married Louis Hanson in December of 1954. Together they had four children. Louis Jr., Angela, Mikel, and Ricky.
She was a homemaker who took great pride and patience to raise those five children with all the antics she endured when they were growing up.
She enjoyed selling her Avon for over 36 years and running her business. She always enjoyed working out in the yard, tending to her flowers, feeding the squirrels as well as watching the hummingbirds and other wildlife.
Idonna was always there to lend an ear and a helping hand when you needed it. She cared more about her family than she did herself no matter what, she had unconditional love for each of them.
Idonna and Louis were married for 56 years before he passed away in 2011. In their retirement years they traveled all over in their motorhome and fished. She was always known for catching the biggest fish.
She loved her family from her children to her great greats as well as her many beloved pets who always kept her entertained.
She is survived by her children, Linda Collins, Louis Hanson Jr. (Arla), Angela Mitchell (Terry), Mikel Hanson (Marlys) and Ricky Hanson (Laurie) all of Fairbury. (10) Grandchildren, Christina Hellbusch (Alan) John Bradley (Kelly) Nathan Bradley (Neyry), Matthew Hanson (Laura), Kelly Mitchell (Tommi), Brandon Hanson (Maria), Kegan Mitchell (Dani), Megan Rosener (Joey), Barbara Lynn (Ryan) and Marc Hanson (Michelle). (24) Great Grandchildren, Adam and Logan Hellbusch, Shyanna Heston (Jake), Bryce Barber, Bree and Jenna Bradley, April and Stuart Hanson, Noah, Ally and Alayna Bradley, Koston Mitchell, Talan and Xavier Hanson, Ibri and Isaac Mitchell, Marley and Rory Rosener, Alexis and Delanee Thivierge, Ryan and Rowan Lynn, and McKinley and Mara Hanson. (1) Great-Great Grandchild, Alex Heston.
Brothers, Ronnie Loch (Nancy) Charles Loch (Donna) and sister Mary Montgomery, numerous nephews and nieces and her beloved companions Tuffy, Louis and Shorty Pants.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis, parents, her brother and sister-in-law Don and Lou Loch, brother-in-law Bill Montgomery, sister and brother-in-law's Lavon and Dick Brockman and Lowell Hanson, and son-in-law Tom Collins.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date due to the pandemic situation. A memorial has been established to the family’s choice.
