Irene Brackle

Irene E. Brackle, age 90 of Fairbury, Nebraska passed away on November 24, 2008 in Fairbury. She was born July 23, 1918 at Gilead, Nebraska the daughter of Joseph and Matilda Rauner Hergott.

Survivors include her son Ronn Brackle and wife Betty of Fairbury, son Richard Brackle and wife Judy of Aurora, Colorado, daughter Mary K. Bedlan and husband Dan of Fairbury, brother Joseph Hergott and wife Beverly of Hebron, Nebraska, sisters Florine Lenahan of Illinois, Gertrude Vonderhaar of Carlsbad, California, Pauline Jesse and husband Herb of Denver, Colorado, sister-in-law Pat Hergott of Hebron, Nebraska, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Vigil service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Mass will be on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fairbury with Father Rudy Oborny. Burial of cremains will be at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Alexandria, Nebraska.
