Isaiah Scott Weers

Isaiah Scott Weers, a.k.a. Cheeseburger, of Marysville, KS, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2023. He was born March 4, 2001, to Shawn & Melissa (Taylor) Weers in Wilmington, NC.

Isaiah graduated from Fairbury High School in 2019, and North Central Kansas Tech School in Beloit, KS in May 2020, with an associate degree in Heavy Equipment Operations. He enjoyed working with heavy equipment and had a few Dirt-Working jobs until he found the one with Horizontal Boring. This job allowed him to travel quite a lot.  He loved going to see new places and being with his friends Mykal & Zac.  Isaiah was only 22 years old, but he lived an amazing life.

Isaiah is survived by his father Shawn, and 2 brothers Marquis & Spencer Weers.

He is preceded in death by his mother Melissa Lynn Weers, and grandfathers Arthur Taylor, Sr. and Richard L. Weers.

Services will be Friday, June 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Diller. Casual Dress or Cut off Shirts are requested.  Memorials will go to the Family’s Choice or the Fairbury Wrestling Program. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6 – 8 at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery – Diller.
