Jack Dean Slater, age 80 of Osage Beach, Missouri, formerly of Fairbury, died on May 13, 2008 at Osage Beach. He was born July 5, 1920 at Fairbury the son of Enoch and Alice Strum Slater.
Survivors include his wife Sheila Slater, son Terry Slater and wife Kathy, daughter Darcy Slater, 3 step-children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services will be on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with Lana Likens officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
