Jack Zabokrtsky, 64 of Fairbury, NE, passed away August 10, 2015 at his home. He was born to Louis Pearl and Ruby Violet (Kuhl) Zabokrtsky April 25, 1951 at Steele City, NE.

Survivors are wife Rebecca, son Travis (Jacki) Zabokrtsky of Morrowville, KS, daughters Marla (Ryan) Strunk of Hollenberg, KS, Annie (Paul) Erichsen of Beatrice, NE, Maggie (Justin) Pryor of Beatrice, NE, Grandchildren Tori & Tray Zabokrtsky, Dawson & Clayton Strunk, Ashlee & Ben Erichsen, Hadleigh Pryor, father-in-law Ben Schoenrock of Fairbury, brothers Bill (Jackie) Zabokrtsky of Burlingame, KS, Mitch Zabokrtsky of Fairbury, Ted Zabokrtsky of Fairbury, Butch Zabokrtsky of Wynnewood, OK, Steve (Christine) Zabokrtsky of Endicott, NE, Jerry Zabokrtsky of Steele City, NE, Doug (Sandy) Zabokrtsky of Endicott, NE, sisters Judy Baldwin of Fairbury, Joleen (Terry) Grammer of Fairbury, NE, Ronda (Bill) Dickson of Culver, KS, Cindy (Larry) Sawin of Washington, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Larry & Jeff, sister Mardee Hughes, sister-in-law Patricia Zabokrtsky, brother-in-law Edwin Hughes, mother-in-law Jean Schoenrock and nephew Ryan Hughes.

Services will be Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairbury, with Sharon Schuster and Pastor Fay Hubbard officiating. The family will greet friends at the Funeral Home Friday evening the 14th from 6:00 – 8:00 Burial will be in the Steele City Cemetery, Steele City, NE. Memorials will go to the Steele City Cemetery or the Family’s Choice. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
