James Stewart, 53 of Jansen, Nebraska died May 19, 2014 at Jefferson Community Health Center. He was born May 1, 1961 to Frank and Leona (Rentschler) Stewart in Longmont, Colorado.

Survivors are his mother Leona of Jansen, sisters Julie Jones of Jansen and Christina and husband Michael Siebels of Omaha, and brother Frank and wife Rachel of Colliersville, Tennessee, niece Christina and husband Randy Hinrichs of Lincoln and Great-niece Ansley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank.

Private family services will be held. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
