Janis Dunback Schroeder

Janis Dunback Schroeder age 67 of Fairbury, Nebraska passed away on February 29, 2012. She was born July 12, 1944 at Belleville, Kansas the daughter of Deane and Dolores Vishnefske Dunback.

Survivors include her son Schaun Schroeder and wife Krystal of Fairbury, daughter Colleen Stonecipher and husband Steven of Ashland, Nebraska, grandchildren Trevor, Michaela, Moriah and Tara Schroeder, special friend Richard Bear, sisters Carol Harper of Salina, Kansas, Joy Dunback of Denver, Colorado, brothers Steven Dunback and wife Kathy of Belleville, Kansas, Kean Dunback and wife Vanessa of Wamego, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband Gerald Schroeder.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home, 2414 H Street, Fairbury, Nebraska with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Township Cemetery of rural Republic, Kansas. The family will greet friends on Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home in Fairbury.
