Jean M. Boyd

Jean M. Boyd, age 82 of Fairbury passed away, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Heritage Care Center in Fairbury. She was born February 16, 1930 at Fairbury, Ne to Floyd and Jessie Palmer Harlan. She was a seamstress at Richardson's Men's Wear in Fairbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James "Red" Boyd, a sister, a brother and great grandson. She is survived by son Mark Boyd and wife Janet of Clearfield, PA, a daughter Shelley Bartling and husband Randy of Hebron, NE. Three grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. A brother Jerry Harlan and wife Elaine of Boonville, MO. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury, with Pastor Joel Hahn officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Memory Support Household at Heritage Care Center or the Alzheimers Association.
