Jeffrey A. Gausman

Jeffrey Alan Gausman, born November 3, 1962, peacefully passed away at his home on Thursday September 24, 2020. He was born to Robert and Phyllis Gausman in Hebron Ne.

He Graduated from Fairbury High School in 1981.  He married Sandi Freese and together they had a Son Jordan which he truly loved and adored, then later divorced.

He worked in Construction, American Tool Co. and Heritage Care Center until his health caused him to retire.

He was a quiet and caring man that loved to fish, watch baseball and Husker Football.  He loved his cookies or anything sweet that you’d put in front of him.

His presence will be missed by everyone that knew him.  Jeff is preceded in death by parents, son Jordan, little sister Jill, brother in laws Rick Little and Mike Backer.

Survived is sister Julie Little of North Platte,  Joni Backer of Fairbury, Special friends Wilbur and Michelle Young and the entire Thornburg Family.

Nieces and Nephews Mikaela, Jareb, Andrew, Mallory, Madelyn, Karenna and Patrick.

Special Thank You to Home Health, Caring Friends and Beatrice Hospice for taking such wonderful care of such a special guy.

Services will be Friday, October 2, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairbury. Burial in Chester, NE. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 - 7 at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to Thayer Central Wrestling Program & Homeless No More Cat Shelter.
