Jerry L. Duke, Ii

Jerry Lea Duke, II, 38 of Fairbury, NE passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his fathers home  April 4, 2018.  He was born April 7, 1979 to Jerry Duke, Sr. and Jacque Hand in Fairbury, NE.

Survivors are his father Jerry Lea Duke, Sr. (Lisa) of Steele City, mother Jacque Hand Duke of Fairbury, brothers Jody Duke of Fairbury, Jonathan Duke of Richmond, VA, Philip Greenwood (Rochelle) of Fairbury, sons Jerry Lea Duke, III, Samual, Darius, Jimmy, Jacob, daughters Kayla & Alana, all of Fairbury, & many nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by his grandparents W. L. and Fayetta Hand, and Jack Willard Duke, Sr. and Patricia Ann Speth and brother Michael Greenwood.

Services will be Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury.  The family will greet friends on Friday evening from 6 – 8 at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.  Memorials have been established to help with final expenses. There will be a benefit @ the Fairbury VFW Friday April 13th starting at 5:00 pm. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
