Joan Nespor

Joan Nespor, 80 of Fairbury, NE passed away January 1, 2018 at her home.  She was born November 20, 1937 to Winford and Gladys (Peterson) Reynolds at Alliance, NE.

Joan loved to watch her family play sports and enjoyed trips with the grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Survivors are daughters Denise Georgi and husband Mike, Deanna Bonar and husband Jim, grandchildren Monica Smith and husband Jason, Amber Georgi, Nicholas Georgi and wife Saril, Brandon Bonar and wife Cassie, great-grandchildren Bryanna Smith, Devin, Sydnie and Wyatt Speakman, Calvin Georgi, James and Kaleb Bonar, sisters Jean Compton, Shirley Rogers and husband Glenn and many nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by husband Bill Nespor, parents Winford and Gladys Reynolds, sisters Betty Ostrander and husband Jake, Bonnie Speth, brother-in-law Buzz Compton, grandson Lance Bonar and nephew Chuck Compton.

Services will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Endicott with Lana Likens officiating.  The family will greet friends on Friday evening at the Funeral Home from 6 – 8.  Memorials will go to the United Methodist Church in Endicott.  Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.  Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
