Joan Marie Rarick

Joan Marie Rarick of Fairbury died on January 24, 2007 at her home at the age of 73. She was born on June 5, 1933 at Reynolds, Nebraska the daughter of Henry M. and Anna J. Lottman Elgert.

Survivors include her daughter Cindy and husband Doug Dowis, sisters Velma Hammer, Lois Templin, Gladys Byrd, Marge and husband Dean Terrill, DeLoris Elgert, grandchildren Martie and husband Charley Eckstein and Christine Dowis, and great granddaughter Alexis Eckstein. She was preceded in death by her parents and 6 brothers.

Services will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Zion United Church Of Christ (Gladstone). Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
