Joann C. Junker

JoAnn Junker 71 of Fairbury, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Heritage Care Center in Fairbury. JoAnn was born May 15, 1937 at Tobias, NE to Clarence and Clara Dallman Wahl. She was a homemaker and more recently a para educator at the Fairbury Schools. She is survived by her husband Lawrence, sons Larry Junker and wife Deb of Fairbury and Dwain Junker of Fairbury, a daughter Carol Wolter and husband Bert of Beatrice, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A brother Ron Wahl and wife Marilyn of Derby, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Christopher Junker. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury with Don Canady officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
