John Anthony Almaguer

John Anthony Almaguer of Hubbell, Ne., 71 years, passed away at the UNMC December 24, in Omaha, after suffering a stroke. John was born in Omaha, Ne to the late Martin Almaguer Jr. of Fairbury and Bertha Ann Smith of Western, Ne. John made his home in 1958 with his Aunt Rose Almaguer of Fairbury after the passing of his mother Bertha. John attended St. Michael’s Catholic grade school and was a graduate of Fairbury High School class of 1970.
John also worked at the Endicott Clay / Brick Products, in Endicott, Ne before retiring.
He is preceded in death by his parents Martin Almaguer Jr. and Bertha Ann, brother Richard Almaguer, Aunt Rose Almaguer. He is survived by wife of 30 years Sharon, daughters Jill Almaguer, Amber Deras, son Miles Almaguer, sister Mary Cold and Tom, half sister Rosemary Clark, three grandchildren, Marlaney Deras, Marcus Deras and significant other Hayden, Malanah Deras, one great grandchild, Brennan Deras, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life is at a later date.
