John H Kroeker

John H Kroeker, 88 years old, son of Bernhard F and Marie (Harder) Kroeker, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

He was born in Dalhart, TX on March 16, 1932.

During most of his childhood years, he grew up on a farm in the Jansen, NE community, except for three years when his parents worked with the “Go Ye Mission” in Tahlequah, OK.

He came to know the Lord as his personal Savior during his elementary school years.

He was baptized, and accepted as a member of the Jansen Bible Church in 1949.

He helped his parents on the family farm both in Jansen and the Steele City, NE area, and spent his later years in Lincoln, NE.

He is survived by 2 brothers: Ben (Sharon) Kroeker of Bothell, WA, and Menno (Barbara) Kroeker of Dayton, TN, a sister-in-law, Marlis Kroeker of Lincoln, NE, 2 nephews, 5 nieces, one aunt, Esther Kroeker of Newton, KS, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Levi Kroeker.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28 at 2:00 pm at the Jansen, NE Cemetery with Pastor Paul Carpenter officiating.
