Joyce E. Gerlach

Joyce E. Gerlach, 71, of Fairbury, NE, passed away October 8, 2016 in Fairbury. She was born May 2, 1945 to Ray Allen and Etta Edna (Loffland) Deakins in Wichita, KS.

Survivors are children Shirley (Brian) Bender of Fairbury, Tim (Dorothy) Gerlach of Wichita, KS, Carrie (Jim) Bivins of Broken Arrow, OK, Cristy (Joe) Zelazny of Melbourne, FL, son-in-law Rodney Lee of Wichita, KS, and grandchildren Kevin & Steven Ahne, Trevor & Rachel Bender, Lindsay & Keith Lee, Jeff Bivins and Carolyn Harger.

Preceded in death by her parents, daughter Becky Lee, husband Lawrence and grand-daughter Sabrina Renee.

Services will be Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita, KS. Memorials to the Family’s Choice. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
