Kathleen Kay Mason

Kathleen Kay Mason age 66 of Fairbury died unexpectedly on July 14 in Lincoln NE. Kathy was born April 25,1958, to Richard and Sandra Rhoden of Steele City Nebraska. She attended Fairbury Public School , graduating in 1977.

After high school Kathy dedicated over 20 years to Endicott Clay Products. When not working, she enjoyed time with her daughters and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Mason Howe.

She is survived by daughters, Amy Hickey (Joshua) of Fairbury NE, Dakota Howe (Zachary) of Fairbury, Brother Allen Rhoden (Mary) Lincoln NE, Grandsons Dresden (Page) of Fairbury NE, Drayton of Fairbury, and granddaughters Emma and Aliza of Fairbury. She will also be missed by many family friends.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service in Steele City will take place at a later time. Family will be greeting friends and family for a luncheon in remembrance on Saturday, July 20th at the Grayhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast at 615 6th Street in Fairbury from 11am-1pm.  Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
