Rev. Kenneth R. Jacobson

Rev. Kenneth R. Jacobson, 95 died March 25, 2014 at Gardenside Long Term Care in Fairbury, NE.  He was born October 24, 1918 to Thorvald and Anne (Dybevik) Jacobson in Sebeka, Minnesota.

Survivors include his wife, Clara; Daughters Solveig Bischoff of Beatrice, NE., Mary Hoppe and husband Dick of Fairbury, NE., Margit Kegel and husband James of Eugene, OR.; Sons Peter & wife Anne Jacobson of Wichita, KS., Paul and wife LaVonne Jacobson of Northfield, MN., and Thomas and wife Kim Jacobson of Champlain, MN., 25 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren; and Brother, Rev. Arvild Jacobson and wife Jo of Sun City, AZ .

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, 5 brothers, one son-in-law and one grandson.

Services will be Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Fairbury, NE., with Pastor Brian Julin-McCleary officiating. Memorials are suggested to the American Lutheran Church. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of the arrangements.
