On September 2, 2026, Heaven gained another Angel, Kevin Charles Booker. Kevin was born February 21, 1961, to William Fredrick Booker and Janice Ruth (Wolff) in Rochester, MN, and graduated high School from Crestwood High in Cresco, Iowa.

He spent his life in the service of many communities, first serving as a Police Officer for several years. He also served as an EMT in several cities in South Dakota and a volunteer Firefighter in Wyoming. He learned the trade as an Electrician and earned his Masters of Electricity. His last job being Executive Director of Electrical Inspectors for the State of Nebraska.

Kevin married Deborah Holzbauch in 2000 and helped raise her two boys as his own. They divorced in 2014. Kevin had a love for the Das hound Dog species. His first was Sasha from September 2016 to November 2016, then he adopted Bernadette from 2016 to 2022. Before Bernadette’s passing, he got Penny in 2021. Penny is with Jennifer now.

In 2014 Kevin met Jennifer F. Trueblood. Kevin married Jennifer in 2023. He was loved by many people and had many friends that were like family to him.

Among his hobbies he collected guns and old toys. He loved playing with his Ham Radio. Earlier years he enjoyed square dancing as he enjoyed life as best he could.

Kevin is preceded in death by his mother Janice and her husband William Regan, his father William (Fritz) Booker and his Uncle Roland Wolff.

He is survived by his mother’s sister Aunt Lynette Hanson, of Titonka, IA, his sister Rita Booker (Rod Eppley), her children Tyler Rule (Kellie Wright), Cassandra Rule (Scott Griffin) Kyle Rule, and Isaah Eppley all of Charles City, Ia. Also surviving Kevin, is his first wife Deborah, sons Andrew Holzbaugh and Eric Holzbaugh all of Sioux City, SD, his wife Jennifer of Concordia KS and her two sons and five grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be October 17, 2026, in Tea, SD at White Space Studio from 4- 6 p.m. He will be laid to rest by his father in MN at a later date.
