Ed Boddye, 99, passed away January 23, 2014 at Cedarwood Assisted Living in Fairbury, NE. He was born November 17, 1914 to George and Lyda (Pletcher) Boddye in Fairbury.
Survivors include Daughter; Judy and Nick Shepherd of Beatrice, NE., Grandson; Duff Shepherd and wife Bonnie Rentz of Kamas, UT., Granddaughters; Dani and husband Mark Spencer of Apple Valley CA.,
Nicole and husband Jason Cloudt of Kennard, NE., Kara and husband Chris Baird of Omaha, NE. Daughter-in-law Marsh and husband Mel Sukup of Harvard, Ne., and Sister Frances Judy of Arkansas.
Services will be Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury, NE., with Pastor Warren Schoming officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials will go to Cedarwood Assisted Living. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of the arrangements.
