Larry D. Arner

Larry Arner 77 of Fairbury passed away, Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Jefferson Community Health Center in Fairbury. He was born May 28, 1931 at Fairbury, NE to Dan and Ruth Griffith Arner. He was a member of the Army National Guard. Larry was a meat inspector at Roode Packing for 35 years and recently worked at Schroeders Family Foods in the meat dept. He is survived by his wife Juliane, sons Terry Arner and wife Kim of Fairbury, Dan Arner and wife Barb of Fairbury, Scott Arner and wife Yvonne of Martell, NE, a daughter Lynne Blacksher and husband Mike of Lincoln, NE. 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Sisters Thelma Minary and husband Irvin of Lincoln, NE, Maxine Kildare of Hebron, NE, Norma Gould of Fullerton, CA, Patty Cunningham and husband James of Fairbury. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Trenton. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at the Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Larson officiating. Burial will be at the Rose Creek Cemetery at Reynolds, NE. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
