Laura S. Compton age 101 of Fairbury, NE., passed away October 17, 2012 at Gardenside Long Term Care in Fairbury. She was born July 18, 1911 at Harbine, NE. to Henry & Sophia (Wegele) Zubick.

Survivors are Son: Dwain Compton of Fairbury, Grandchildren: Cynthia Johnson & Husband Roger of Auburn, KS., Michael Munoz & Wife LaDonna of Auburn, KS., Ashley Witt & Husband Tyler of Chester, NE. , Keenan Rose of Florida, 2 Great Grandchildren, Son-in-law: Tomas Munoz of Auburn, KS., Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins. Preceded by Parents, Husband Paul, Daughter Norma, Sisters Bertha, Elsie, Evelyn, & Helen, Brothers Albert, Albert, Richard, & Leonard.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday October 22, 2012 at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury, with Pastor Steve Frazier officiating. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday October 21 at the Funeral Home in Fairbury. Burial at the Fairbury Cemetery - Fairbury, NE.
