Laverne Layton

LaVerne Layton, age 90 of Fairbury, died on December 29, 2007 in Fairbury. She was born June 19, 1917 at Fairbury, Nebraska the daughter of Claude and Linna Lesher Arnold.

Survivors include her sons Donald Layton and wife Sharon, George Layton and wife Caroline, daughters Ruth Coatman and husband Larry, Evelynn Kapke and husband Richard, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, brother Max Arnold and wife Ida Mae, niece Nancy Brixey and husband Gary Brasser.

Services will be on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly Of God Church in Fairbury with Pastor Eldon Minks officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
