LaVonne F. Powers 88 of Fairbury, NE., passed away December 15, 2014 at Gardenside LTC in Fairbury. She was born May 28, 1926 in Rapid City, S.D. to Merle & Effie (Galligan) Robinson.
Survivors are Sons: Terry Whitton of Fairbury, Larry Whitton & Wife Sandra of Gilead, Daughters: Judy Crabtree & Husband Clayton of Pottsboro, TX., Edna Steinberg of Beatrice, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Brother: Ray Robinson of Sidney, NE., Sister: Judy Gregg of Enid, OK. Preceded by Parents, Husband Charles, 2 Brothers, 2 Sisters, 1 Sister-in-law, Daughter Sally.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday December 19, 2014 at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home Chapel in Fairbury, with Clarence Black officiating. Burial at Bethel Cemetery-Wymore, NE. Memorials to the Family’s Choice. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
