Leona Bartels age 95 of Tobias, Nebraska passed away on March 11, 2013. She was born October 4, 1917 at St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of William and Elnora Roesler Burstadt.
Survivors include her husband William Bartels, sisters Dorothy Wendler and husband Rev. Harlan, Verna Stockamp, brother Elmer Burstadt and wife Barbara, sisters-in-law Phyllis Burstadt, Lela Bauer, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of rural Tobias with Pastor Ryan Meyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home.
