Lonna Durflinger

Lonna Durflinger, age 71, of Alexandria, NE died Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home. She was born February 2, 1953, in Hebron, NE, to Roy and Iona (Davis) Ehlers.

Lonna is survived by her son, Laythan Long of Council Bluffs, IA, son Ryan Long (Courtney) of North Platte, NE, son Benji Long (Chanda) of Council Bluffs, IA, son Jessie Durflinger of Alexandria, NE and daughter Jamie Durflinger of Alexandria, NE. She is also survived by brother Vincent (Ila) Ehlers, Beatrice, NE, sister Carmen Schroeder of Fairbury, 14 cherished grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Her grandchildren were her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Don & Lyle, sisters Marilyn, Glennis, Dixie, Linda and Cheryl.

Services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2:00pm at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Deshler, NE

Memorials will go to Family's choice in c/o Gerdes Meyer Funeral Home.
