Lorena Bertha Jarchow

Lorena Bertha Jarchow, age 102 of Daykin, Nebraska, died on September 12, 2007 at Beatrice, Nebraska. She was born on February 20, 1905 at Daykin, Nebraska the daughter of John and Emma Endorf Schmidt.

Survivors include her daughters, Arlene Holtmeier of Beatrice, Marilyn Holtmeier and husband Aldo of Crete, Jeanette Stengel and husband Dale of Geneva, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Hazel Schmidt of Fairbury. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon Jarchow, brother Lawrence Schmidt, sister Marjorie Jordening and son-in-law Don Holtmeier.

Services will be on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Daykin, Nebraska with Pastor Paul Beyer officiating. Family prayer service will be at 1:45 p.m. at the Parish Hall. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials are to the church.
