Lori K. Busing

Lori Kenna Busing (Brodecker) "mom", 55, of Fairbury Ne, formally of Marysville Ks, went home to be with Jesus on May 15 2020.

Lori was born on May 14 1965 in Holton Ks to Kenneth and Laura (Sorensen) Brodecker. Lori was joined in marriage to George "Bill" Busing on May 17, 1999.

Lori is survived by her husband Bill, Brother Dean & Jeannie Thomas, daughter Chantal & Louie Williams, sons Kenneth & Candice Maschmeier, A.Gilbert Maschmeier. Step children Chris Busing, Krystal & Joe Ward. Grandchildren Nevaeh, Derek, Marci, Corey, Ivaan, Calliope and William, Nieces, Great Nieces and nephews, and Great Great nieces and Nephews. Her Fairbury Family, Her "Strays" and "Others".

Lori was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Laura, aunts Erma and Hellen Brodhecker. Grandkids Lucas and Tyler.

Lori was loved by many people. Her best quality, similar to her mom, is that she didn't judge people on their race, ethnicity, education, or societal class. She was light hearted and easy to laugh. Her brother teased her endlessly. Lori was born the day Dean graduated high school so, they were not as close as many siblings could be, but he loved her just the same. She and her nieces were more like cousins than an Aunt-Niece. Lori loved the outdoors, Spending time with her family, crafting projects for her family.

Lori's five children and 7 grandchildren will be lost without her as well as many other people that called her mom and grandma that weren't blood relatives.

Private family services will be held at the Fairbury Cemetery. Public Viewing will be 9 – 9 on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.  Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
