Lucille (Lucy) Jones

Lucille (Lucy) Jones, 63 of Fairbury, passed away at her home on December 13, 2007. She was born in Lincoln, NE, November 30, 1944 to Ervin & Blanche Brhel Daniel. She grew up and attended and graduated from Crete High School. Lucy worked at Farmland Foods for 23 years as a bacon scaler.
She is survived by husband Jay of Fairbury, daughters Joyce Juracek and husband Chris of Omaha, Laura Degenhardt of Lincoln, Sarah Paredes and husband Gary of Lincoln, sons Anthony Degenhardt of Lincoln, Jeremy Degenhardt of Lincoln. Mother Blanche Tracy of Lincoln, grandchildren, Ellen, Andy, Abby, Connor Juracek and Kelsey Degenhardt; a brother, Melvin Daniel and wife Carol of Denton, sisters Darlene Stajner and husband Elmer of Lincoln and Bernice Harding and husband Jesse of Lincoln. Ex husband Jerry Degenhardt of Crete,
step children, LeAnne Jones of Tecumseh and Jimmy Jones and wife Chrissy of Fairbury, and step grandchildren Bailey Stirrup and Gabriel Jones. She was preceded in death by her father Ervin Daniel and grandson Michael Hollman.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church, with Pastor Duane Holst officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Lutheran Church or Family's Choice.
