Lumir J. Sipek, age 86 of Fairbury passed away on March 1, 2010 in Fairbury. He ws born April 29, 1923 at Swanton, Nebraska the son of John and Agnes Pesek Sipek.
Survivors include his wife June Sipek, daughter Linda Abelson and husband Robert, son Randy Sipek and wife Tami, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister Evelyn Kohlschmidt.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
