Lyle Nannen

Lyle Paul Nannen, age 73 of Odell, Nebraska passed away on January 7, 2009 in Odell. He was born December 4, 1935 at Sprague, Nebraska the son of Raymond and Margaret Hile Nannen. He was a retired school teacher and coach. He had coached at Emerson, West Point Central Catholic and Randolph from 1971 through 2004.

Survivors include his wife Karen Nannen of Odell, daughters Theresa Stapelman and husband Brad of Belden, Nebraska, Mary Sailors and husband Scott of Lincoln, Nebraska, Ann Tracci and Jeff Bolling of Wayne, Nebraska, grandchildren Devin, Will, Skyler, Noah, Ellie and Peyton, brothers Dick Nannen and wife Sherry of Blair, Nebraska, Gene Nannen and wife Kay of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Neil Nannen and wife Carol of Lincoln, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joyce Wenz and brothers Bob Nannen and Mike Nannen.

Vigil service will be on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Odell. Mass will be on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Odell High School Gym in Odell. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the Vance-Gerdes Funeral Home in Odell.
