Marilyn Jean (Langley) Camden lost her battle with cancer on April 30 th , 2022. She was born on August 6, 1943, to Birnum and Hattie (Rohr) Langley. She graduated from Haddam Rural High School in 1961. Marilyn had two children Tammy, and Tim. She lived and worked in Fairbury for many years as a Bookkeeper for Scherbath Inc, before becoming a bookkeeper for Lineweber Trenching in 1986. Marilyn was always ready to work and loved doing her job. Marilyn loved to travel, shop, and always was excited to find a new place to eat to take friends and family to, even though everyone knew she herself was an amazing cook. She enjoyed going to the casino, and garage sales with her friends. She was a collector of many things, but probably best known for her cookbook collection, which filled numerous bookcases, and loved reading them looking for a new recipe to try out. Marilyn met the “Love of Her Life” Roy Coulter in May 2014 and hasn’t sit still since. They travelled all over the US and Mexico seeing the sites and enjoying time together whether at a Stars hockey game or all kinds of concerts. Marilyn is preceded in her death by her parents Birnum and Hattie Langley, brothers Bob and Albert Langley, and sister Bernadine Dimond.
Those left to mourn her passing are Roy Coulter of Beatrice, Daughter Tammy (Bill) Robinson of Lincoln, Son Tim (Monica) Sedlacek of Blue Springs, Granddaughter Katie (Juan) Terrazas of Lincoln, Granddaughter Alexis Thrasher, Grandsons Keegan and Mason, Great-grandsons Nico, and Frankie.
