Marilyn Cerveny

Marilyn Y. Cerveny, age 74 of Fairbury passed away on July 14, 2009 in Lincoln. She was born July 1, 1935 the daughter of Lyle and Judy Smith Priefert.

Survivors include her husband Junior Cerveny, daughters Deborah Hanquist and husband Layne, Jeanne Newton and husband Dick, grandchildren Jason Newton, Justin Newton, Nathan Hanquist and wife Kristyn, Gabe Hanquist and Brady Hanquist. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Connie.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Fairbury with Pastor Lawrence Fruhling officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
