Marion J. Cacek

Marion J. Cacek, 80, of Odell, NE passed away August 30, 2015 peacefully at home. He was born to Joe and Julia (Blaha) Cacek in Odell, NE on August 17, 1935.

Survivors are wife, Miriam, daughter Ruth (Cacek) and David Pipes and grandson William “Billy” Pipes.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son David and first wife Karen (Van Waning) Cacek.

Services will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2 pm at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Odell. Marion was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved his family farm near Odell. He was dedicated to education as a teacher of science and industrial arts and long time member of the Odell School Board.
