Marjorie Hauschel Miller Leonard

Marjorie L. Hauschel Miller Leonard of Fairbury, passed away on October 15, 2012 at Gardenside Long Term Care in Fairbury. She was born November 13, 1923 at Morrowville, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph and Lottie (Gould) Hauschel, Sr.

Survivors are her daughter, Carol Bauer, son-in-law Chuck and grandson Greg of Fairbury.
Sisters-in law Minnie Terpening and Gladys Novak both of Haddam, KS, Byrtilla Lichtenberger (Rex) of Beatrice, NE, Martha Harris (Harry) of Crete, NE and numerous nieces and nephews. Step-daughter Deanna Abell (Dick) of Tucson, Arizona; step-daughter-in-law Sharon Leonard , step-grandchildren Heather Boyet (Jason), Tim Leonard (Michelle) all of St. Louis, MO, Garner Adelman (Jennifer) of California, and four step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Delmer Miller, second husband Ardan Leonard, 9 sisters and brothers: Rose Wells, Jennie Green, Lucy Menke, Grace Schmitt, Robin Hauschel, Joe Hauschel, Jr., Howard Hauschel, Mike Hauschel and Millie Hubka.

Services will be Thursday, October 18, at 10:30 a.m., at the Faith Lutheran Church in Fairbury, with Pastor Kenneth Hart officiating. Family will greet friends at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury on Wednesday, October 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Memorials to the family's choice.
