Marvin J. Rempel

Marvin J. Rempel, Sr., passed away August 2 ^nd at JCH & L at Fairbury, Nebraska at age 84. He was born May 12, 1937, at Fairbury, NE to Ben H. & Wilhelmine (Hinzman) Rempel.

Marvin worked at Store Kraft Manufacturing Factory at Beatrice, Nebraska for 9 Years.  He then worked 25 + years for Smitty’s Furniture and Appliance Store in Jansen, NE., until he retired.

On April 28 ^th , 1961, Marvin was united in marriage to Eleanora Eggert.  Two sons were born to this union; Marvin J. Jr., (Jim) and David Allen.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 60 years Eleanora, son Marvin Jr., (Jim) Rempel, sisters-in-law Bernadine Harrison & Sharon Eggert, grandson Zebulon Rempel of Endicott, NE, many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son David, grandson McKinley (Mack) Rempel.

There will be no service at this time, as cremation has taken place.  Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is assisting with arrangements. www.gerdesmeyerfh.com
