Mary Ellen Duis 79 of Reynolds, NE. passed away December 25, 2015 in Houston, TX. She was born June 23, 1936 at Verona, MO. to Altgeld & Helen (Mooney) Cook.
Survivors are Husband: Loren Duis of Reynolds, NE. Son: J. Alan & (Shirley) Dickey of Houston, TX., Grandchildren: Ethan, Faith, & Grace Dickey, Brother: Donald & (Clara) Cook of Kansas City, KS. Preceded by Parents, Son Mark, Brother A.J. Cook.
Services will be at 10:00 am Monday January 4, 2016 at Cornerstone Community Church in Fairbury, with Pastor Dean Carlson officiating. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday January 3, 2016 at the Funeral Home in Fairbury. Viewing will be from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday January 4th, 2016 at Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Pleasanton, KS. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Pleasanton Cemetery – Pleasanton, KS. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
