Mary Ann Griffin

Mary Ann Griffin left this world to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday November 15, 2018 with family by her side. Mary Ann was born December 24, 1928 to Henry & Agnes (Neidar) Fencl of Haddam, KS. She was the 3 ^rd child of 13. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, & Daughter. She enjoyed many activities to include gardening, cooking, canning, tending to many of God’s animals, dancing, & playing bingo with the family. Prior to settling in Fairbury, NE., she enjoyed having lived in Kansas, Texas, Minnesota, & Oklahoma. The last two years she resided at Gardenside LTC & developed many relationships. She was known to put smiles on many with her unique sense of humor. Mary Ann will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by Sons: Randy Griffin, Rod Griffin, Dave & Becky Griffin all of Fairbury, Daughter: Tammy & Kelly Craig of Lincoln, 11 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Peggy Svanda of Washington, KS., Carol Small of Washington, Sharon Fencl of Clay Center, KS., Laura Mae Simmons of Newton, KS., Brothers: Roger Fencl of Sand Springs, OK., Joe Fencl of Washington, Roy Fencl of Washington. Preceded in death by Parents, Husband Everett, Son Daniel, Brothers Henry Jr., Gary, Don, Jim, & Wayne. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at Haddam Cemetery – Haddam, KS. The family will greet friends Tuesday November 20 ^th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury.
