Mary Lavina Steinberg age 85 of Fairbury, died on November 5, 2007 at Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born October 6, 1922 at DeWeese, Nebraska the daughter of Joseph and Ruth Blacketer Carrel.

Survivors include her children Richard Steinberg and wife Joann, Marilyn Craig and husband Richard, Linda Wood and husband Bruce, sister Floraean Campbell, brother Charles Carrel and wife Norma, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
