Matilda M. Danaher

Matilda M. Danaher age 85 of Lincoln, Nebraska formerly of Fairbury passed away on January 13, 2011. She was born March 14, 1925 at Ulysses, Nebraska the daughter of Vinc and Julia Pekarek Vanis.

Survivors include her husband Michael Danaher, daughter Julie Shaffer, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Fred Vanis and wife Dorothy, sisters Georgia Palmer, Bibianna Schmillen and husband Wallace, brother-in-law Gene Rezac, nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fairbury with Father John Birkel officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
