Maxine Marcum, age 89 of Fairbury died on November 19, 2007 in Fairbury. She was born January 10, 1918 at Fairbury the daughter of Clarence and Edna Shoebotham Galbraith.

Survivors include her son David Huegel and wife Sharon, daughter-in-law Sylvia Marcum, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister Catherine MacDonald, sister Ruthana Chase, sister-in-law Evelyn Galbraith, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Fairbury with Pastor Leonard Leslie officiating.
