Maxine J. Strain age 86 of Alexandria, Nebraska passed away August 22, 2013. She was born May 16, 1927 at Plymouth, Nebraska the daughter of Charles and Emma Hennings Christ.
Survivors include her children Dennis Strain and wife Judy of Lincoln, NE, Judy Disney and husband LeRoy of Alexandria, NE, Mary Jiskra and husband Marvin of Lincoln, NE, Tom Strain and wife Twila of Fremont, NE, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, special friend Judson Gaston.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Alexandria, NE, with Lana Likens officiating. Burial will be in the Alexandria City Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury.
