Merle "Sonny" Everhart, Jr.

Merle "Sonny" Everhart, Jr age 68 of Fairbury passed away on March 20, 2012. He was born December 7, 1943 at Fairbury the son of Merle and Ruby Townsend Everhart,Sr.

Survivors include his wife Gloria, daughters Tammy VanLaningham and husband Gary, Lisa Everhart, grandchildren Justin Hoffman, Jordan Hoffman, Kayla Hoffman, Smantha VanLaningham, Katelyn VanLaningham, great-granddaughter Isabella Thomas, sisters Peggy Sorrells, Marlene Johnson, Betty McGinty and husband Darol, Ruth Gresham and husband Russ.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury with Lana Likens officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
