Merle Masek, age 88 of Odell passed away on September 9, 2008 in Beatrice. She was born on December 11, 1919 at Hanover, Kansas the daughter of Joseph, Sr. and Emilie Sedlacek Klecan.
Survivors include her husband Francis, son John Masek and daughters Jean Potter and Dennis and Franceen Darwin and Bill, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass was on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Dennis Hotovy officiating. Burial was in the Odell Czech Cemetery.
