Merlen Mees

Merlen J. Mees, age 85 of Fairbury, died on July 26, 2007 at the Heritage Care Center in Fairbury. He was born January 2, 1922 at Daykin, Nebraska the son of John and Martha Schwisow Mees.

Survivors include his wife Corene Mees, children Karen and husband Brian Roskilly, Carolyn and husband Donald Junker, Michael and wife Sondra Mees, Keith and wife Glenda Mees, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister Marian and husband Richard Weishahn, sisters-in-law Della Mees, Kathren Mees and Maxine Mees.

Services will be on Monday, July 30, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
