Michael G. Grams

Michael G. Grams, age 46, passed away September 25, 2006 at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born November 5, 1959 to H. Fred and Marian Michels-Grams in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended Lincoln Public Schools.
During his early years, he enjoyed hobbies such as baseball, bowling and constructing model cars. Later in his teenage years, he developed many lifetime friendships. In his early twenties, he became employed as a transmission mechanic. In the mid 1980’s, he joined his
parents in Baytown, Texas. He worked various jobs including lighting and sound technician for a local rock band. He then worked for Carl’s Transmission for a duration of 15 years, eventually becoming a master transmission technician. He returned to Lincoln, Nebraska in 2003, purchasing a home and working at a longtime friend’s family owned business, Nebraska
Transmission until his time of death.
Survivors include his parents, H. Fred and Marian Michels-Grams of Fairbury, daughter Natasha Bowland of Lincoln, sister Lisa Grams and nephew Eric Grams of Fairbury, aunt and uncle Sharon and Oscar Grams of Hollenberg, Kansas, aunt Janis Michels of Fairbury, cousins Aaron Grams of Kansas, Cindy Lee of Indiana, Sharon and husband Terry Woolery of
Missouri, Lori and husband Kevin Johnson and Susan Michels of Fairbury
Services will be on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Fairbury (1630 I Street) with Pastor Richard Larson officiating. Memorials are to the family’s choice. This is a cremation and burial will be at a later date.
