Michael A. Mangels, 44 of Fairbury, NE died March 28, 2015 in Fairbury. He was born October 21, 1970 to Fredrick H. & Evelyn L. (Klarman) Mangels at Long Branch, NJ.

Survivors are wife Sheri Risher, of Fairbury, sisters Kathy Mangels of Fairbury, Julie (Andrew) Johnson of New York, brother Fred (Joanne) Mangels of VA, niece Nicole (Jason) Sorensen of TX, nephews Tommy (Hannah) Taylor of Fairbury, Brian (Ashley) Taylor of Fairbury, Grandchildren Brage, Ayla and Jobe.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services are Saturday April 4, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairbury Cemetery with Memorials going to the Wounded Warriors Project in Lieu of flowers. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
